Composite Diamond
Heat Spreaders have a
thermal conductivity of 600
W/mK and an average
CTE(coefficient of thermal
expansion) of 3.0 in the
range of 20-300°C.
Therefore, Composite Diamond
as a heat spreader material
is intermediate between CVD
diamond (Diafilm TM) and
other heat spreading
materials, such as AlN and
Cu. Composite Diamond Heat
Spreader material is
produced by high
temperature, high pressure
sintering of small diamond
particles to form a
homogenous integrown diamond
lattice structure. The fine
grain structure and uniform
distribution of the binder
makes this material ideal
for heat spreader
applications. It can be used
